Not much to see here, and it can be dangerous at night.
Not much to see here, and it can be dangerous at night. However, it has a good feel, because the people are nice, helpful; many speak some English. Romania in general has a good feel, but there are better places to visit instead of Bucharest (Brasov, Sibiu, Timisoara), which I suppose one should visit because it's the capital, but if one passes on it nothing really is lost, besides seeing the second largest building in the world.

I was the third time there. The city is called the Paris of the East but after the two earthquakes in the 40th and 70th nothing exists of that city flair anymore. Its one of the must ugliest and most dirtiest cities I saw so far.

Go on a tour we went to see Peles Castle, Brasov and Bran Castle on a day trip, which was a really good idea. AFI Shopping centre is good to pass the time on a rainy day, but prices are no cheaper than our home country. Lots of places to visit and places to eat, people very friendly. Streets extremely clean and we felt safe when out walking.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I thought the beds were very cosy and soft, I really enjoyed a good nights sleep! The bathrooms were clean and the showers are nice and have hot water.

Being on the edge of the Old Town means it's quieter than most hotels in the area but everything is on your doorstep. The staff are great, the breakfast is good, and the rooms are just what you need for a city break. We stayed at The Europa Royale Bucharest on three separate occasions during our trip to Romania and would happily stay there again.
